What is the name of your state? Lancaster California

Fenced and gated 21/2 acre land, three vehicle camper homes have parked on the land with out permission from what I understand about three months ago, 4 angry dogs two chained up with 20-30ft leads so you cannot go near the camper vehicles the other two run wild one of which is a pit bull that goes nuts when you try to walk onto the land, front gate bent back, no trespass signs missing, they have been told to leave and have refused, also they are discarding their trash every where into 6' piles. The leasing sign has had its numbers and names sprayed over.

I understand this is trespass but what is the best way to approach the police about this with out it turning into a response of 'well it depends' or some sort of right for them to be there.
