Correction: the employers are not the ones denying the claim. The employers are CONTESTING the claim. It's the state that's DENYING the claim. The employer has no authority to either grant or deny benefits.

Even if the employer agreed to withdraw their contesting of the benefits, which is quite unlikely, there is NO guarantee whatsoever that the state would then turn around and grant them.
