What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

I'm wondering if anyone has experience dealing with GA in regards to orders of incarceration. The NCP just got done with bankruptcy earlier this year and was subpoenaed to attend court on August 6th for contempt. His current arrears are just over $36k, but he was given the option of making a $2500 payment before the court date to settle it. He decided to take a vacation out of state 4 days before his court date and just returned home yesterday. The judge ordered an order of incarceration for the case. I'm just wondering if this is going to be like a bench warrant that will only catch up with him if he gets pulled over, or if they will go out and attempt to pick him up.
