Again I recommend you have what you submitted personally reviewed by a professional in your area, so you are prepared to address any problems the examiner might find in your application.
It is important to note that most patent applications will spawn questions from the examiners. The entire process can be a lengthy one, taking years rather than months. Inventors often must amend their applications to meet the objections of the examiner. If your invention is one that is novel and nonobvious, however, you should be able to fix the majority of issues that are raised.
