What is the name of your state?AR Is there a difference in an employee sponsered 401K plan and a pension plan??? As in a divorce split - division.
:eek: embarrassed to be so ignorant - is why I am asking.

Yes, there is a difference. But I do not have enough background in standard pension plans, as opposed to 401k plans, to explain it coherently. Hopefully someone else will. Otherwise, talk to someone in your HR department.
