What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

My wife and I got married in DC over 20 years ago. We cannot find the marriage certificate. We are GA residences. We will file the uncontested divorce in GA. Do I need to obtain the copy of marriage certificate from DC’s court for filing divorce in GA?

I have no personal knowledge of how things work in GA - you might want to check GA sites regarding divorce and what documentation you need. I don't recall having to produce a marriage certificate when I divorced in NY. However, GA may be different.
