Hello, Im hoping someone can answer a question for me. My little sister lives in Texas and her mother is repeatedly admitting her to psych hospitals. My sister will be turnig 18 in March of 2011, does my sister have the right to refuse consent to treatment and/or admission?

Until she turns 18, no she does not, and perhaps not even after she turns 18, depending upon the totality of the circumstances.
