Started in January, Experian is adding rent payments on individual credit reports. This will only affect tenants whos LL report to the CRA, and only for positive reports at this point.

Currently no late rent payments are being reported, however Experian reports they will soon with certain restrictions. They will only report late if a tenant moves out of a rental unit while still owing monies. Meaning they will not report a late if a tenant is past due X days(typically 3-5 days) in one month.
