Calif: A builder has failed to pay all of his subs, including us, a cement contractor. The roofing contractor hired an attorney and because we had submitted claims against the builder (with CSLB & his bond insurance) we are named/included in the court case. The builder, property owner & bond company are named as defendants. The attorney for the bond company wants us to send them a 'responsive pleading'. Is this simply a statement of facts that can be sent to them OR are we to fill out legal forms (Case Mgmt Statement) and have them recorded/stamped at the court house?
Thank you!
