What is the name of your state?va
how are easements and use agreements transferred? If we have a easement and the new owners don't want to grant this for whatever reason, do new owners have the right to change, etc?

If you hold a easement through another persons property that easement is for your benefit say ingress and egress and it is recorded and shows up on the other persons title ( the person who owns the land that you are crossing ) it cannot be changed UNLESS the wording in the easement allows for changes to be made . If you dont understand any of the wording of the easement use the links up top and arrange for a consultation with a atty that can assist you by reviewing the documents and explaining to you what they are saying .
