So my friend stole a $0.75 item from a mini food mart. It was a doughnut. What kind of penalty/ies does he face if caught?
And I recently received my CalTrain ticket (after 1 month with a fine of $182.57!). So I plan to go to court, arrange a court date and all that good stuff.
Just out of curiosity, how long does a court session last (since I'm going to a traffic court)? And if they plantiff does not show up, are they subjected to an arrest warrant and is the case against me dropped?
