What is the name of your state? Connecticut
Hello, I'm a 16yr old male and I had sex with a 14yr old female who is just over 2 years younger than me. We were both drunk and I was not aware of her age. I've been charged with a couple of other things for that night, seeing as I was at a party in someones house who was not there, and I didn't know that was the case. I have never been in trouble before.
My question is what sentence does the stachatory in this kind of case usually carry?
Sec. 53a-71. Sexual assault in the second degree: Class C felony: Nine months not suspendable.

(b) Sexual assault in the second degree is a class C felony or, if the victim of the offense is under sixteen years of age,
a class B felony, and any person found guilty under this section shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of which nine months of the sentence imposed may not be suspended or reduced by the court.
