What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Therapists often ask questions that may seem inappropriate, but there can be a reason behind the asking of them.

To post the details of your question, along with the name of your state, you can use the "edit" feature on your first post, or you can use the "reply" to respond to this post.

The "preview" function on this site does not always work for all people for some strange reason. It deletes the post instead of submitting it. Don't preview your post first and you should be okay.

Again, remember to include the name of your state. Thanks. :)

Unless the question has to do with a sexual act he wanted to do with you right now, I don't think you should worry too much. Therapists ask had questions, it's kinda like their job.

It would have been nice if insomnikk had actually returned to fill in his post with more information, like exactly what type of therapy was involved.

Some sexual questions asked by some therapists could be legitimate to the therapy, and other sexual questions asked by other therapists could be totally inappropriate to the therapy being offered. More details would have been needed to better determine if what insomnikk had been concerned about over a month ago was worth reporting to proper authorities.

In other words, asking sexual questions would not be a part of the job for all therapists.
