What is the name of your state?OH

I have a question and am wondering if it is possible:

If a person gets a DUI or similar offence and owns their own business, is there a way to transfer their insurance, title, and/or registration to their business to avoid high insurance premiums if their business revolves around transportation to and from the jobsite?

Driver

Insurance premiums are based in part on the driving records of the vehicle operators. If you own the business, you will be listed as a driver on the commercial auto policy. If you have a DUI, the policy premium will be affected by that. Same thing applies if you have an employee with a DUI. Just because the vehicles are registered to the business doesn't mean you won't pay a higher premium for having that driver on the policy.

Post Script

And by the way, if you use those vehicles in any way for business, they should be on a commercial auto policy anyway. A personal auto policy does not provide adequate coverage for commercial auto exposures. In a lot of cases, personal auto insurance carriers limit or completely exclude coverage if the vehicle is used for business.
