Hello. I was hopeing that someone might please have some advice about how to get disrespectful neighbors to stop trespassing.
Our property is on a sloped hill, which is clearly marked with several no trespassing signs along the entire length of the property line. There are no enticements or hazards whatsoever, just the same typical landscape elevated from the road level, by the slope of the rolling hill landscape.
Neighbors have crossed over from the other side of the road to trespass onto our land riding dirt bikes up the slope of our hill on to our property. They have no regard for the private property signage and they are intentionally intruding (without our consent) on to our private land for their own reckless joy riding purposes. I worry that the unwanted motor cycles could potentially spark a fire in the dry season.
Can someone please suggest what steps we can take to prevent this unwanted trespassing intrusion and property damaging behavior? We've already posted signs and verbally requested that they please honor property boundaries, but to no avail.
Thank you, I'd appreciate any helpful input offered.
