What is the name of your state? Washington

Can you make a outside family member (brother in law) in charge of the financial portion (trust) on a living will. Theres no one capable or honest enough to handle this matter in our family and my brother in law owns 2 corporations in Seattle?

Please, one thread at a time.

There is no requirement that the trustee, power of attorney, or executor be related to the people in the trust. In fact, it's often better to have a disinterested party involved.

You seem confused about what the various documents are, see my response to your other thread.
The fact that your brother-in-law owns corporations means nothing.
