I bought a motorcycle and the dealer made a mistake on the bill of sale. The total sale price is indicated on the bill of sale. The cashier made a manual subtraction with my down payment resulting in an undercharge. Now they are attempting to collect the amount they have undercharged me. At the time of sale neither of us discovered this underpayment. The cashier has marked the bill of sale paid in full. Do I pay for their arithmatic mistake? I am in Michigan.

Mistake

Since the contract stated the correct sales price and you agreed to it, the store is not bound by its mistake. I believe you owe them the amount of the underpayment.
