What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania

If someone violates a temporary protection order showing up on the property when it states they are not to do it, is there a better chance of getting the final order? This person has been arrested for violating the protection order. Also does that mean the person will stay in jail until the final hearing date?

What final order?

Final order for what?

Depends on what he is charged with, convicted of, sentenced to, and whether or not he makes bail.

If he happens to be in jail at the time of the hearing, he may be able to appear by phone or through counsel or even get the hearing postponed.

Whatever it is you are trying to accomplish doesn't automatically become guaranteed just because he got arrested.

The police officer just called me and told me this person is going to be charged with defiant criminal trespassing and indirect criminal contempt for violating the protection order. He also said the police are going to physically arrest this person. I know it's up to the judge at the jail to say whether or not she goes out on bail or has to stay in jail until the final court date which is in two weeks. Just wondering if anybody knows if the person usually gets jail time until the final court date or if bail is usually set. Also is there anyway the judge would release the person freely without having to post bail? We had video evidence of this person being on the property after the police called her and told her not to be on the property and then she was served with the protection order, and still came on the property, so she was warned twice and still did.
