If an employee gives their two week notice and the employer decides they would rather the employee to leave immediately would the employer be required to pay the employee for the whole two weeks that the employee provided?
Unless you have a contract with your employer that specifically states this will be done, then no, your employer is not legally required to pay out your two-week notice period.
