What is the name of your state? Mississippi Went back to eviction court today. Tenants told judge they only had half the money and would be back with it all before 5PM. Court clerk says Tenants left court and called back and said they didn't have it. They were reprimanded by the clerk for lying to the judge but I STILL have no rent money and probably won't get get any rent money. They now have 10 days to pay or be moved. Seems there should be better laws to protect Landlords from being cheated out of what is righfully theirs.
