What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Iowa

I am being sued for cc debt that I had in Kansas but now I live in Iowa and being sued in Iowa. I have replied to the suit as a denial and filed a motion to dismiss due to statue of limitations under Kansas laws. If my motion is denied when do I file the motion of discovery, is it when I get a hearing date ?

I won

I won my case. I filed the motion of discovery requesting the original signed document and all accounting showing totals.

The law firm sent the court a letter of appearance. On the court date they didn't show up, so I won and they can't refile!
