He did not have pnuemonia at all.

The hospital did not dispense any morphine and he was not having any pain until she (his wife) said he was on Wednesday and he died Thursday.
Morphine may come from pharmacy, it doesn't have to come from the hospital.

After she got him morphine on Wednesday night.
This is common for terminal patients.
