So when I was working second shift they should not held that for his parenting time it would have been more as a childcare also right?This is how it was explained to my ex when he tried to use 'child care hours' as 'parenting time' in his bid for full custody...
"You don't get a credit for providing child care for the children, for the same reason their teachers don't get credit for providing care for them 7+ hours per day. The children spend more awake time in school than they do with either parent. Are you suggesting that the school district would have a basis for a custody filing just because you entrust the children to them for a few hours a day? When the children's mother grants you additional time, or you agree to provide child care, you have just become a 'responsible adult' that she's leaving the children with - you are NOT exercising parenting time."
Because that is not what habbend in my case.
