The Hague Apostille

Can anyone tell me if it possible to have documents issued in countries which are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention apostilled for use in countries which are members of the convention?

Specifically I want to know if it is possible to have a marriage certificated which was issued in Thailand apostilled for use at the Spanish Embassy in London.
