What is the name of your state? West Virginia

I had a subordinate employee make a report to our local police that I was stealing merchandise from my retail store operation and selling it on EBay. The local news picked up the story from the police blotter and ran it on the evening news. All of the allegations were false, and a complete investigation was done by the company I work for, and I was cleared of any sucspicion. In fact, the police never did any kind of investigation because my employer told them there was no basis for these claims.

Do I have a case against my employee or against the television station??
