What is the name of your state? MO

An ex-friend of mine, and some of her friends, were spreading rumors about me and other people. I found out one night that they were having a party, underage drinking and whatnot, and I decided to get my revenge by calling the cops on her. She figured out it was me (no clue how) and now plans on filing a report against me.

And ya... I'm worried.

What kind of "report" are you talking about, and with whom is she allegedly planning to file it?

"False information to a law enforcement agency with malignent intent and slander against a professional license" - copied and pasted from the email I received.

And she plans on filing it with, ironically, the same department I called. The county police dept.

Ask her for the statute number.

Truth is the greatest defense against defamation. If what you said is the truth, then you have nothing to worry about.
I guess my concern is this... when I made the call, I lied about HOW I knew the information to make it more believable. I said I was a neighbor and that they were getting loud, and I was pretty sure there were underage kids drinking. I don't know if that turns what I said into slander. I didn't specify her name, or the exact apartment... just said which building and what floor I thought it was on. And my call was anonymous.
