What is the name of your state? Georgia

I live in Georgia. I was married 10 months ago. (my second marrage, divorce final in 1995; her third marrage, divorce final in about 1992).
I made a mistake. Can I get an annulment or must I go throught the divorce proceedure?
Kinna havin' a tough time right now.

Well, actually I never thought of that. By your statement, I can aonly assume that a divorce is less stressful and complicated. Am I right? (Georgia)

"I made a mistake" is NOT on the list of acceptable reasons to get an annulment.

I have never seen an unstressful or uncomplicated divorce.

Of course, I am newbie, having been in this business only 35 years.:D

Actually, you can have a rather unstressful divorce, and I am speaking from personal experience here. If you both agree to the terms, and there aren't children involved, it is a rather simple procedure.
I wrote up the papers myself, separation agreement, petition for dissolution, etc. from forms I found on the internet. In my search, I found several places that will help for about $150 , but I didn't even need that. Do a google search for cheap divorces, you will see what I mean.
P.S. My ex originally had a lawyer that tried to turn the whole thing into a big, messy, expensive deal, fortunately we both saw through that and dumped her ass.:)

A divorce may not be less stressful, but in general its quicker, easier, and less expensive than an annulment.
