Is it legal to have my son bring a tape recorder in to his class unbeknownst to him and to his teacher? We believe that our son's teacher is harassing him, and we've talked to his teacher and the administrators, and they are in denial, so going that route hasn't resolved anything. We are now worried that his teacher is taking the fact that we went to the adminstators out on him. Please advise.

maybe you should ask for him to be transfered to another class/teacher. Sending a formal letter in complaint to the school might also help.
