Going on a Carnival Cruise.. need some Advice

I Live in Alabama... I am going on a Carnivail Cruise with my wife, Her Parents... and my wife's sister... She invited... Her Boyfriend, her boyfriends Best friend, and Her Boyfriend's Bestfriend's Girlfriend.... we ship out from Ft. lauderdale... and have three stops on the cruise... ******ique , Barbados , St Maarten ...


She since then has split up with her Boyfriend... things have been ugly between them, but they are still going on the cruise with all of us...

Carnival requires that anyone under the age of 25 (I believe) must have a Parent or Garudian... My fear is these "Kids" will get on the boat and do something stupid... Hurt someone... Get hurt... go missing... They aren't the brightest of people... how can I insure (since the rooms they will be staying in are in my "mother and Father" - in law's names) that if anything happens to these kids or they do something to someone else that their parents can't sue or do anything legal to my in laws and even including me.... Is there a legal form that their parents could sign.... something?

Are these "kids" actually "adults?"

I don't see any restrictions as you mention except that guests under the age of 21 must be in a room with a parent or guardian who is over the age of 25. I don't see how that would make said parent/guardian liable for the improper actions of another adult.

I guess since you put it that way ....that I can't stop them from suing .... is there any way to protect ourselves.... from any actions they might do....?
