What is the name of your state? OHIO

This is a story from a coworker but I got as many details as possible..... I'm really curious as I think this is REALLY bad.

This gentleman's father died. The father suffered for ahile with a fatal illness and racked up some huge bills. Which I believe that the estate (if any) is responsible for and the son would not be. BUT toward the end they wanted the father moved to another facility so the son signed some papers...not sure but I think that he might have signed on for being finaincially responsible... I'm guessing they can hold them to it, right?

Okay, here's the sticky part. The parent died about 8 weeks ago and in that time the son has been using his deceased fathers credit cards for shopping etc.

So my big question what will happen when the credit cards find out and how long does it take? Is there anything he should do?

He actually thinks they aren't going to notice since they dont' know she's dead yet. I am guessing somewhere in probate and all that jazz they get notified and they'll probably see the dates right.

I am thinking it's some sort of fraud......
