What is the name of your state? kentucky
Back in August of this year I ordered a bunch of beanie babies from a company I wanted to order from because most of the beanies were on sale. I placed my order and sent my money out well weeks went by without a sign of my order appearing. I called and called constantly to find out if my order had been sent out. The company in question kept telling me that the money had not arrived for my order. After I placed this order I was stupid enough to order again from them, but this time the order arrived. With the order the sales person wrote that I could not order again and if I did they would retain my money. Months went by and nothing showed up....no order and no money until just recently I have recieved my money back. I contacted the bbb about how my money not being returned and how the sales person insulted me and threatened me. Well the better business bureau just got the company`s supposed reply to my complaint and the sales person implied that I harassed the company and about I was incompetent or a totally lush on acohol or drugs and that I had a child which is far from the truth since I had to have a hysterectemy. The case has been closed with the bbb. This woman used her home internet address to write the bbb just to insult me. I asked the bbb investigator to delete the slanderous comments made about me,which I have not heard nothing back from. Is this sales person allowed to write such comments about me without proof and can the bbb keep this little snipe at me in their files when it is stuff written about me as though I am what she says I am? I really need to know. I don`t know what to do. I want this woman to stop writing these things about me when the money has been returned and the issue is closed, but she seems to want to keep it going.

Then stop going to their website and reading it. What do you mean when you say that you want this person to stop doing this? They responded to your letter. There shouldn't be a reason for them to respond again.

There are thousands of posts similar to yours so I have prepared a standard answer:

Get a lawyer.

Invest $20K and three years.

Sue the bad people for defamation. (Libel is the general term for written defamation; slander is the general term for spoken defamation.)

If you win, expect them to keep doing it.

If you lose, expect them to keep doing it.

Stand by for other opinions.

You are always the bad guy...

Doesn't it seem that no matter what, if you are a victim to Big Brother in the money business than they aren't willing to help? I suggest you call the BBB and speak to someone else. Explain your case in third person with a good attitude and ask just what the company is supposed to do for a person such as this. If you are black than have a friend do it. I'm sorry but it sounds like discrimination. Do you have an accent? Although it may seem unfair, sometimes the only way to get what you want is in a round about way. Maybe if you get the response you want you could write about your experience with the BBB on a website that is hosted for free using an IP anonymizer. Keep good records of the discrimination in case another suit is filed. I'm truly sorry. Speaking out is key.

Thank you.

I was right about you. You see if you had made a good argument I would have loved to address it but since you played the Ad Hominem Fallacy I win by default. *Kiss.

Because this is a white mans world.

"If you are black than have a friend do it. "

Why?
Because being black is just another obstacle in this life. And in matters with the law, if you are black, then you are guilty. In order to eliminate that discrimination, it would be prudent to have a white friend (who sounds white) use their white privilege to gain you the respect deserved. Sometimes getting what you want takes a creative mind and diligent spirit. I want peace and equality, but I know what to expect from this world.
