What is the name of your state? AZ
My friend is around 32 and has a 5 year old son.
A crazy chick is going around to friends/family of my friend, and telling them both true and false information in hopes that she will be able to make people have a bad impression of my friend (the true information is bad, but the false is a lot worse). Some of the false information deals with how my friend handle her 5 year old son, and some sexual things that my friend has done (completely untrue).
She's gone to about 5 different family members, screamed and yelled at the kid with profanity. The family members wouldn't mind going to court and explain specific instances of what was said.
1) Are there any legal actions I can do against this crazy chick?
2) If not, where could I go to have some sort of Attorney letterhead that makes it look like I am going to take her to court if this behavior continues (even if I have no legal standing). I hope that she stops, but if she doesn't (been going on for about a month now), I would like to scare her with a nice legal document saying she is going to be taken to court.
