I admire that. I must confess that I was a typical ninny too. If something happened between DH and I, I would do things differently than before. Nothing is forever and I am better prepared now, know what I mean? I truly love DH, but that is not a guarantee and I believe that I have learned a lot from the past.Hey, it's their own fault that we do. At one time we were like all the other ninnies you see on these boards. Constantly fighting, ignoring each other, yah know, the usual stuff. Then we discovered that the gp's were playing us off of each other to gain almost every weekend with a sleepover. That's when ex and I started talking. I told him that if we couldn't get our acts together and parent our children then these things would continue to happen. We promised each other at that moment that we would ALWAYS communicate with each other after that and leave our feelings out it.
I would definitely try to follow your example. Too many crappy things going on in this world already, the last thing my kids need is for DH and I to act like asses.
