What is the name of your state? NJ

I will try to keep this short.

Someone that was suing me put on a revenge website a bunch of lies naming myself and my company. When we went to court ordered arbitration part of the consent order read that that the parties agreed that they would not communicate orally, in writing, or electronically, or by any other means the subject matter of the dispute or disparage each other.

Now because the person suing did not like the decision of the arbitrator, they put up on the same website another report but put it under the name of the arbitrator, ripped them apart and then referenced the stuff that they originally listed about my company again and tried to cover it by using another name (in fact made a point of stating that the name was changed due to the consent order), but it is EXTREMELY obvious who they are referring to. The stuff about my company is about 3/4s of new report filed on the revenge site.

Is this a violation of the consent order and can I do anything to this person for it?

Did you copy the site and ask the arbitrator?

Yes I did (edited to add, he did think it was a violation, I left that part out) BUT he is not an attorney, I don't want to get into too much for fear of violating the order myself. There is a lay person and an attorney working together as the arbitrators, both sides agreed to this.

I didn't get into any questions about what can be done to these people yet. Is there anything that can be done? They have made my life a living for the last year and half. My attorney had said all along that basically the point of arbitration is that no one goes home happy, everyone has to give a little. ANd while there are plenty of things I would have liked to fight in the end I abided by agreeing to the arbitrator's decision, I followed through on word, while the other person has done all kinds of things to reneg on the agreement that was made. So far through bullying and intimidation, at least that's how I feel, they have gotten far more than they deserved, but this may finally be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Can I do anything to this person for violating the consent order or is only the court allowed to do things to them?

Thanks

What if anything could happen? I have to honest, after the hell these people have put my family through, I want to see them punished.

Gee, give him the answer then, instead of directing me *TO WHAT YOU THINK THEY ASKED*.
okay, I will.

If they are found to be in contempt of court, the judge could fine them, or sentence them jail time, or both.

it doesn't say exactly how much of a fine, or how long for jail time - but there is a LOT of case law about it.
