I am still legally married to my husband. He left me, and moved in with his girlfirend. They got married 1/13/07, I found out and filed a police report. He was arrested, and charged with bigamy, filing with a false instrument, and perjury. I know the bigamt=y is a felony, what do you think his fine will be? Will he have to pay a fine, serve time? He is telling everyone he is not worried, because it is going to be dropped. I am hoping this isn't true.

Its not going to be dropped, but it could be pled out. He is not going to get off scott free on this, but the DA will control to a great extent whether or not he does any time.
