Testimony would be in court and a recording or transcript or both will be made.

A STATEMENT is made at the police station and a recording may be made.

Please explain what "the cops are being very...not...yeah..." means?????????

Yes, they can record your court testimony. Yes, they can record your conversations with them in most situations (be they uniformed or undercover). And, yes, these can be used against you.

Perhaps you'd care to clarify your situation a little more coherently?
