What is the name of your state? Hawaii

If a minor goes to a web site that says "must be 18 to purchase" and makes a purchase what are the ramifications to 1. The minor and 2. The company?

I looked all over their web site and there isn't much information about that rule, except it's stated on the order form. The company is in RI and I cant even find a phone number for the place, so I am guessing its an internet based company.

That would depend on what was being purchased.

Most folks call it a strap on. The minor could be charged with possession of a sex toy if it is illegal in your state. An example would be Alabama, where it is even illegal for an adult to possess sex toys. As far as company, there would be very little if anything that could happen to them. I don't know if any state requires age verification for the purchase of sex toys.

Thanks Racer, but let me verify, its not a "strap on" nor used for sex. Unless some like it very soft....its a prostetic for urinating like a man, has nothing whatsoever to do with sexual activity. Now mind you the same company does sell prostetics that can be used for sex, but that is not the case with this particular product. Does the company have a responsibility to verify age before sending things of that nature?

I also want to apologize if this thread offends anyone.

If the item is not for use in a sexual nature, I seriously doubt there would be any repurcussions for either party, such items are likely legal for anyone to possess regardless of age. I guess everyone can tell where my mind is some of the time.

Hahaha! No problem Racer! I guess my main concern was the product causing an infection if not used properly, and because it says must be 18 to purchase, I wondered about liablity.
I don't think that it was a medical site where one would normally find other prosthetics. Can anyone just buy any prostetic from anyone?

At any rate, thanks for all the answers! I appreciate the help Ive been given. You people are awesome for taking the time and answering these questions. :)

Because for intensive purposes it's a dildoe and minors are prohibited from purchasing sexual toys, and the company is covering their ass.

Strange people haunt these hallowed walls!

The thing is used by females to pee, not as sexual anything. Female pilots use these types of devices.

BTW, for your "intensive" purposes it's dildo, not dildoe! This device is not a dildo!
