Why not? If she is not getting treatment for a metal helath issue, and it is effecting my daughter negatively, why wouldn't I?

You enter with proof, proof that she has the issue, proof that it affects your daughter negatively, proof that she is not receiving treatment, proof that she has refused treatment, proof that she needs treatment. Now do you see why you don't??

Because it is MOM'S privileged medical info. YOU have NO grounds to get ahold of it -- on the basis that another person told you so. It'd take a LOT of legal wrangling -- and therefore a lot of $$$ -- to get that into court. Good luck with that...

*edited to add* And what Fair wrote, also. ;)

I'm interseted in the well being of my daughter here. I am willing to do anything, or spend anything, to make sure she is in the best situation possible. Please do not make sarcastic comments to me concerning something that could hurt my little girl. I DON'T appreciate it.

whatever, oh my wait, what is it that your cite says??

(a) The wishes of the child if the child is of sufficient age and capacity to form an intelligent preference as to his custody.

Wow, that IS totally different, and yet, surprisingly exactly the same.
My comment was directed to daddy2kids who posted a randomly googled website. I provided a link to a state website that supported your comments.

Honestly I have no idea why your upset, other then the fact I quoted your reply. I quoted your post because you provided the statue.

I am just interested in what the steps involved are to have her get evaluated. I understand that you guys think it is tough, but I need answers.

If your comment was directed to Daddy2kids, then perhaps that is the post that you should have quoted. No harm no foul, I apologize to you.

If you have the money to spend, then you should probably get an attorney ASAP and ask him/her if there is a way to have a court-ordered evaluation. I've heard of it happening here over custody issues, but it may be different in your state. An initial consultation may be free or very cheap.

Oh, good grief.

I'm not being sarcastic about "hurting" your little girl. GAWD.

I'm pointing out that you have no idea what waters you dipping your tootsies into...and that it is pretty much a no-win situation, unless you are made of $$$.

IF you plan to frolic around within the legal system, you'd best develop a MUCH MUCH MUCH thicker hide. If you think that lawyers or judges are gonna pussyfoot around you, you are sadly mistaken.

Please do not give any more of your input regarding this. I am not interested in your ridiculous opinions. If you are going to be rude to people, why are you even on here?
