You have to understand that it has taken me 19 years to figure all this out. I wasn't allowed at the trial. When I walked into the courtroom during her trial, they Judge called for a recess and the defense lawyer came to me and said that this trial was closed to the public and that I couldn't be there. Well I believed him because I was only 17 at the time, but remembered that there was a reporter from our local news there. It wasn't untill I got older that I realized that I was escourted out becaused I could have discredited the States entire case. Because it was a pre-determined conviction, they could not allow me to sit in because I would have defended my Mother.
