What is the name of your state? MO
I have a question, there are these people that haved owed me money for months, its only $80 bucks, but heh, I loaned it to them in good faith, now this person is saying that they are going to send me a check for the amount, but they are going to take a copy of the check and post it in the newspaper, is this legal? I don't want my name mentioned in some town newspaper, if this does happen, do I have a case against them by chance? Thanks, Vicki

Vicki, if you have $30K and three years, hire a lawyer to sue.
