What is the name of your state? Arizona
Why would a NCP not be released from custody after he paid the court ordered purge ammount? What can be done to help get him out?

according to minute entry

according to the court minutes he was to be released upon paying the purge. He paid the purge to me so I know for a fact it was paid but he is still in custody and the inmate info system says he still owes a $5000 fine. As I said I recieved the 5 gs, I know it was paid he is still in arrears for $ 28000 but I dont know if they could still hold him even though he paid. Through the grapevine Daddy is getting him a lawyer but the only time I've ever gotten money is through purges. Just wondering if there was another reason they could hold him.

Does the court know he paid the purge? Quite frankly it may have had to be paid to the court and not to you. Most likely that is why he is still sitting in custody.

The court knows

The purge was paid at the jail facility. His parents have the receipt. Then they transferred him to a different facility.

Maybe there's more to it that meets your eyes ???

Could be a different offense .

there was a probation violation but...

He did have a probation violation but the state dismissed it. That is why I cannot figure out what they are holding him for.

in AZ almost all court proceedings, traffic tickets, Justice court proceedings etc, etc. etc. are on line and available for anyone to see. She doesn't even have to pick up the phone.

Ive been on the web site!

The minutes from his probation hearing are on there and it says he is to be released. That was last monday. It doesn't show the payment on my case history but the minutes from his cs hearing said a purge release amount of $5000 which I got on May 10th. I tried calling but couldn't get a human on the phone only automated system and that says he still owes $5000. I just can't figure it out.
