What is the name of your state? WA
I booked a flight to the UK at the weekend with FlightCentre. The transaction went through, and I received an email stating it was confirmed.
I had a phonecall today from the FlightCentre stating that the travel company the arrangements are with, had technical issues at the weekend and their website was misquoting prices. As a result, the flight is actually $400 more than I have already paid. They have offered a refund, or to pay the extra.
FlightCentre state they are a booking facilitator only and take no responsibility for third-party issues - my legal recourse is with the travel company. Can I insist that they give me the ticket at that price, or do they usually cover themselves with disclaimers that say they can change the price. The only ones I can find state that they can change prices without notice, but doesn't say if this still applies after you have paid and had confirmation.
They need to know tomorrow, so a prompt reply would be very helpful. Thanks.
