wedding late November, need a simple prenup
found one lawyer willing to do it for 600, but he said my fiancee has to have her own.
it would run more than a 1000 for us

considering legalZoom option with notary public.
would legalzoom document be valid in CA, considering that we are in more or less even financial standing?(similar salaries, I have more savings, and bigger 401k)

If you want it to have even a chance of being valid and binding, you each have to have your OWN attorneys on this...

There is really no way to do a low-cost or attorney-free prenup that wouldn't be easily shredded in divorce court.

Also, bear in mind that the longer the marriage, the more likely it is that the prenup will be ignored in the event of a divorce.
