I have a quick question i need answering

I am a member of a very large popular forum used mainly by webmasters. What my issues is, is from time to time members come along and start a website with the intention of making money quick and todo so they might use other peoples ideas

now my question is this? when these people start something alot of other forum members are very very quick to call them QBC (quick buck crew) and in doing so effectivly kill the persons websites in the fact that every one avoids them. Occasionally they get it wrong or because they dont like a particular person they call them QBC .

Is there any legal issues here?

Ah, okay.

I don't see this as a defamation matter. Or any legal matter, actually.

If members of this webmasters forum are posting their ideas on this forum and others are using these ideas to create websites, I would first suggest that the members quit posting their ideas on the forum if they don't want others to use them. As for calling someone a QBC for taking these freely posted ideas and making money off them, it seems like simple name-calling as opposed to libel. And if someone is going to stop visiting a website because they don't like the person, whether they are a QBC or not, there really is no recourse.

If people believe someone is a QBC, they are entitled to believe it. They are also entitled to visit whatever website they want.
