What is the name of your state? MARYLAND

My employer recently told me that business is down and that she will have to make adjustments. I am currently a Salary employee. I have been employed for 5 ½ years and work 40 hours a week. I want to know if my employer can take me from salary to hourly and cut my hours? Also can they offer me part time work and if I decline will I be eligible for unemployment?

No, most likely you will NOT be able to get unemployment if you refuse work of any kind. You can get partial unemployment if your job is reduced to part time.
