If a criminal offense in TX was settled by a Unadjudicated probation and a employee ran a background check, what will show up on the record? Its my understanding that only an arrest and probation will show. The situation is this, a person here has just applied for a position an on the application was asked if she had any convictions or if she plead no contest or nolo. she filled the application out no because her lawyers says nothing is on record but I think the lawyers wrong and that the fact that she plead guilty will show and if it does the company want hire her not because of the probation but because they will think she didn't tell the truth on purpose.
does anyone have knowledge as to what shows up on the records?

It depends on how thorough the criminal records check is and what records they check. I imagine it will show up.
