I am looking to buy a new house but for my bad credit history I am hesitant to ask anyone about it. Is there any chance that I get another loan and meet the requirement of owning a house? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Lease with option, owner financing, virginmoneyus, there are more ways to finance something than there are things to finance -- you just have to work at it.

What kind of bad credit history?

But, I agree with the others: Despite what the news media says, there is plenty of money to loan.

Getting a Subprime loan will be tough in todays market with the foreclosure crisis. There are options out there like lease to buy. With a poor credit history, one thing that will help is a substantial down payment. Also, be prepared to pay high interest rates, too. You might also try FHA, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae.

If nothing else, there is "Hard Money", which means your loan is from a non-bank institution such as an individual or small company. Hard money usuaully requires 30% or more down, and is very costly interest wise. But the advantage is that they take people with bad or no credit.

You can borrow money but depending on your credit problems it can be expensive. Check out the site www. debtworkout.com. There is a lot of good reading on a myriad of debt related issues. Seems well written and concise. Good luck.....C :).

credit

what do you consider to be bad credit there are options out there that if you have 12 months of good payment history you can get fha or fannie mae products that have good 30 year fixed rates and they take up til 12/3 575 score

so it all depends what is really bad credit.

hope this helps.
