I AM US CITIZEN, MARRIED MY WIFE, WHO IS FROM GUATEMALA, WE EVEN MARRIED THERE. NOW AFTER BEING HERE FOR 6 MONTHS, HER VISA HAS EXPIRED, SHE DOES NOT HAVE A CURRENT GREEN CARD ON HER PERSON. THINGS ARE JUST NOT WORKING OUT AND WE WANT TO TERMINATE THE MARRIAGE, DO WE HAVE TO GO THRU DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS? IS THERE A QUICKER WAY, SUCH AS ANULLMENT, CAN SHE JUST HOP ON A PLANE AND GO HOME FOR GOOD? WHAT TO DO....PLEASE HELP

The quickest, cheapest way to end the marriage is divorce. CA is a no-fault state: you can file and be done in approximately 6 months or so. She doesn't have to stay here for you to complete the divorce.

I'm not quite sure I understand how having her visa expired and not having a green card translates to you wanting to terminate the marriage. It sounds like that is a completely separate and independent issue with the marriage that has little to do with immigration. Since immigration does not seem to be involved in the sense that she wants to remain in the US, you can always get divorced and just have her return to Guatemala.
