We have a family plan with T-Mobile. My wife 4 days ago started to get phone calls on her cell from a Private (Blocked) number. Person never talks, except ones, very deeply and quietly where you couldn't understand, but for the most part just breathes in the phone loudly. Yesterday on one of the calls, he burped and hung up.
My wife is afraid of those calls, because we don't know anyone that would pull a prank on us, nor we have friends like that. The breathing into the phone really intimidates her. She is afraid someone maybe following her all time now.
I called T-Mobile first, they said they can't do anything, they have no way to tell the number, except they proposed to change our number. I'm afraid that won't help, because if someone is really going after my wife and they got number once somehow - they'll get it again.
So representative said - contact local law enforcement agency. We called our police department. Officer came over - filled out a report and gave us reference #. That's it. I asked him to contact T-Mobile - response was: I don't do that.
I called T-Mobile back again, told them I have police report and asked to transfer the case to their investigation team. (I was talking to a manager) She said they cannot do that unless law enforcement contacts them about the issue.
So what can I do at this point?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
