What is the name of your state? California

I am interested in selling a downloadable product online.
It will be a guide i am going to write on how to grow marijuana indoors.

What i need to know is:

- Is it legal for me to sell this guide on the internet to people in the U.S. and other countries?

- Do I need some sort of disclaimer if i do sell it. If yes, How would i obtain someone to write this disclaimer and what would be a normal price for something like this?

Is there any other legal procedures i would need to do in order to sell a guide of this sort on the internet.

Thanks,
Jason

This sounds like a really bad idea (although, I'm SURE it sounded great in the smoke filled room in which the idea was born!)

You have rights under the first amendment. In the U.S. I don't even think a simple disclaimer would be necessary. As to other countries, as long as you don't travel there, I think it unlikely you would be extradited to answer any charges which would stem from this.

However, even without looking, I bet there are a bazillion websites and guides which are available for free for doing such a thing. Why would anyone pay for your knowledge on this? Growing something called a weed can't be that tough.

I had to make it a quick search. I didn’t want the bells and alarms going off at work for to long. ;):D

It amazes me the number of people who post here who think a "disclaimer" will help them!
